*Important Covid19 Update and Information Video*
Hello everyone,
We hope that this message finds you all healthy. We issued this memo to address agency wide protocol as a result of a very scary wake up call.
In less than a week, our agency went from having zero Covid19 cases to having 10 confirmed cases including one resulting in death. We also have another 14 possible cases pending test results. These cases are not all related to each other. This just goes to show that this virus is still out there and we are very concerned about the well-being of all of you. It has been proven that New Mexico is experiencing record high numbers in positive cases - daily. We need to take immediate action to protect our clients and families.
Effective immediately:
-
We strongly discourage any mass gatherings such as Casinos, Parties, or Church Services.
-
We are requiring all Community Support Providers and their client(s) to wear masks at all times during shifts. If this is not possible, providers must contact the agency prior to working.
-
If you have come in contact with anyone who has Covid19, are feeling symptoms yourself, or have been tested for the virus, contact the agency immediately prior to working with any clients.
We all need to do our part to keep everyone safe and stop the spread. If there is a chance you might have the virus, you need to stay home and self isolate. Please watch this informational video and let us know if you have any questions or concerns. If you would like a copy of the documentation presented by Nurse Jacquelynn please let us know and we will get it to you right away.
Thank you all for your hard work during these uncertain times,
At Home Advocacy
